Today, my littlest sister and I sing Owl City.
This reminds me of last night, leaving the Arcade Fire show, singing Stroke 9 songs with Jay. Slightly ridiculous.

Probably forgoing Bonnaroo for Lollapalooza—I’m definitely doing Lolla, just don’t know know if I’m doing ‘Roo too. Have booked a fancy hotel. Foo Fighters, Colplay, Muse, MMJ, A Perfect Circle, Bright Eyes, EITS, Cold War Kids, Lykke Li, Lissie, Local Natives, Gold Motel, Patrick Stump, Maps & Atlases, Manchester Orchestra, City & Colour, Ryan Bingham, Kid Cudi, Girl Talk, Noah & the Whale, Foster the People, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Wye Oak. Plus my triumphant return to my favorite city. Should be a great weekend. And I’ve got plenty of room in my hotel if you’d like to come along. :)
Here’s the thing about Bonnaroo: Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons, Black Keys, Widespread Panic, Ray LaMontagne, Iron & Wine, Buffalo Springfield, possibly Empires, general hippiedom—free camping & entry as a volunteer—that also sounds awesome. I have the vacation time available to do both trips, so should I just go for it?
Bike rides & basketball. Facial & manicure. The trifecta: cheese, champagne, cupcakes. Being Human series 3 (I am giddy/scared about watching this.)
May 1: Plain White T’s at the Hat Factory
May 7-8: Jay’s birthday/graduation weekend. BFF will be around, freshly graduated from grad school at UNC.
May 15: Flaming Lips at The National
May 21: My birthday, plus Addie & Andrew’s wedding, so basically a party that a lot of people I know & love will be attending
May 27: Mom’s birthday, so sometime that weekend we’ll have a birthday/Memorial Day party
Should be great times.
