This kid couldn’t find/afford a copy of the Academy EP so he got someone to scan all the liner notes, etc and made one himself (for his girlfriend). Torn between being totally jealous and wondering how many copyright laws he’s breaking.

Friday morning I left real early to get to Raleigh to fly to Chicago. Arrived, hugged Jess, shivered, checked in to our cute hotel (Hotel 71, highly recommended), ate a burger, crawled under covers, watched HBO and napped. I was thinking of Romain Duris in any of his movies. Totally did not guess the right guy. It thought I was thinking about Mathieu Kassovitz from Amelie, which I would have been had it been 2005.

Whenever I am going to a show where I know the artist I am seeing has previously collaborated with another awesome musician, I always get my hopes up way too high and think “maybe they will come and surprise us all!”
It has yet to happen to me, but other people talk about it all the time it seems.
